GORE-TEX FR235 Salopette

Features

Gore-tex FR235 fabric is the latest development from GORE and provides complete multi-hazard protection. There are two variations of the fabric FR235 3 Layer and FR235 2 Layer.

The outer layer is made from 52% modacrylic 42% cotton 6% polyester and is extremely tough and durable, with a high tensile strength and tear resistance, making these garments long lasting. The fabric is backed with a waterproof membrane, which is a composite of expanded polytetrafluroethylene (ePTFE). This membrane makes water and wind penetration impossible, whilst allowing perspiration to escape. The membrane ensure the fabric remains permanently waterproof, unless punctured, as it does not deteriorate with heat or light.

The inner layer of the 3 layer fabric is made from an Aramid fabric, ensuring the garments provide the best heat & flame protection possible.

The jacket, coverall and hood have been lined using 150 g/m2 Kermel Viscose fabric for both comfort and additional protection.
